Mini Music Movies are created by visual artist and animation director Udo Prinsen in collaboration with musicians, music related artists and organisations. In the samples below you can browse through a large portion of short films that have been made in collaboration with many fine artists like Martin Fondse, Maya Fridman, Rob van den Broek and many more. ·MINI MUSIC DOCUMENTARY·
A short process registration, a making of or an interview accompanied with album art can provide in depth insight into your music, vision and creativity. In the Mini Music Docs below you are witnessing a part of the creation process of Severade, a music picefor Cello Octet Amsterdam, Maya Fridman and instrument maker Rob van den Broek. In a second film we follow the Bakfietsband members performing at the Summer Jazz Bike Tour festival in the province of Groningen (Netherlands).
·SPECIAL PROJECTS·
Every now and then a request comes along that goes beyond ‘mini’, it needs a medium or bigger approach, a larger context. In the example below 5 Mini Music Movies are combined into one larger concept film about the senses. The project is inspired on the music and photography of the late Paul Cruqc, as commissioned by his family, Nina Linde Jaspers and Foundation Frank van der Wal. Paul passed away but his family continues to keep his legacy alive. The films were designed and animated by Anna Koppen. The second film is a music video for singer Henk Kraaijeveld, feeturing a grumpy dictator like leader who eats all he can find to gain wealth and fame until he takes one bite too many.
